About

     Hello! I'm Heather and half of the 'Our Little Tribe' blog.  I am a mother to two boys, Heston Lee and Lane Gray.  When I'm  not catching vases, wiping floors, and scrubbing sticky little fingers, I am a graphic designer at 4 Paper Cranes Design where I create all kinds of pretty things for business owners and the novice alike.  I am a chronic DIY-er and a book lover to the core.   

     The other half of our 'tribe' is my close friend Tiffany @tnestes. She wears many hats, working in healthcare recruiting, jewelry sales (touchstone crystal), and mastermind of her many DIY projects. She is one of the busiest people I know, and comes out at the end of the day smiling and pristine. She is the mother to a beautiful little spirit name Bella, and to Zoey and Kenzley, identical twin baby girls!  

     Together we bring very different perspectives; I being a mom to all boys, and Tiffany a mother to all girls!  We wanted to start this blog as a way to reach out to other moms, creatives, and business women alike to share our experiences and our adventures in this beautiful life. 

     Formerly owners of 'Hip Little Tribe,' a company that began with a foundation of positive vibes and a wish to spread the message of acceptance, we still strive to create an environment of acceptance and self respect.  We believe that everyone has something remarkable to offer and we want to encourage kids to express themselves through their words, their actions, their creativity, and their personal style.  Our late business motto still rings very true to us;

     Meaning that everyone has a place and importance and all differences are beautiful. We are on this earth together and part of the same 'tribe' so lets make it a happy experience and support one another along the way!
